Hooks that feel inevitable

Hooks that feel inevitable

The difference between catchy and inevitable is restraint, repetition, and one well-placed surprise.

Say it twice. Then say it again. Then change one word.

A hook isn't a clever idea — it's a shape your mouth wants to make again. The best ones reward repetition by hiding a small turn in the third pass: a word swap, an interval change, a held syllable.

Write the hook last. Earn it.
